Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu today challenged Kenyans living in the diaspora to seek and explore the varied and vast business opportunities in Kitui County and invest in them.She said the County Government of Kitui has taken the necessary steps to provide conducive environment and the required infrastructure for investors wishing to put their money in the county.

FORMER Prime Minister Raila Odinga today pitched the case for India to import green grams from Kenya. Speaking during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, Mr Odinga urged the Prime Minister fo India to consider importing at least 100,000 metric tonnes of Ndengu from Kenya annually to save Kenyan farmers who had grown the cereal targeting exporting it to India.

Machakos county commissioner Matilda Sakwa has issued traders operating on road reserve in Mlolongo with a seven day notice to relocate to allow for effective operations of the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA).

Ngilu moves to establish a livestock bank

Kibwana hands Motorbikes to 
boost Community Health Program

The Community Health Service in Makueni has received a major boost after governor Kivutha Kibwana handed 45 motorbikes to the health volunteers. This brings to 137 the number of motor bikes under the programme and will be used by at least 110 Community Health Units across the county to promote primary health care.

Free Medical Camps

Over 400 people were today treated at a free medical camp at Kanyaa and Kakululo in Migwani in Partnership with University of Nairobi and Mwlngi KMTC. The medical camp was organized by proffesionals from the area. They were backed up by the County Government of Kitui's Mobile Clinic Service as a goodwill gesture during Easter Holiday.
