"The measures we are taking are in support of the national government’s initiatives to ensure our communities are prevented from getting infected with Covid-19. We will continue on this initiative and assure Wananachi that we are alert 24/7 to serve and protect them.", Governor Mutua said adding "Even as we prevent the spread of coronavirus we have to continue providing treatment from other diseases that our people suffer from."
He said the county's 80 ambulances placed in all administrative locations and main highways are on duty 24/7 so that they can ferry our patients who are in labor or suffering from other ailments.
"I request all open businesses to exercise high levels of hygiene and cleaning of areas where Wananchi touch or rub against as they receive services. All exposed and uncollected garbage in our towns and villages should be burnt in a cordinated manner and garbage collection should be done every day including weekends."
