KCSE Shocker
for Ukambani

A Shocking trend has emerged from the KCSE performance by Schools in Ukambani, with indications that matters are going from bad to worse.
So shocking is the outcome such that one of the region's National School- Machakos Boys struggled to remain in the Top 100 schools nationally by clocking the 99th slot.
It held the tail in that category behind Precious Blood- Kilungu(49), Machakos Girls(77)Muthale Girls(86), St Charles Lwanga(87) and Mbooni Girls(93), underlining the fact that the region is undergoing serious under-performance.
In the District Category, the highest performer is Makueni at position 39 from close to 270 counties. Indeed, 19 out of the 33 Ukambani Districts dropped from the 2012 KCSE performance, with the rest making marginal improvements, save for Makueni that leaped from position 65 in 2012 to 39 in 2013.
