The Municipal Council of Machakos is pushing on with a major upgrade that is changing the face of the town.The programme will, among other things, see all properties and streets within the Central Business District named and addressed. It will also leave the entire CBD paved, street parking lots marked and cleaned.

CONVICTED Fr John Makewa and the Catholic Church are mulling over  his future in the Clerical State.
His two year suspension is coming to an end in November 2012 and the Diocesan Council is expected to make a decision over his fate on or before that time.
