Governor Ngilu today hosted a team from Kenya's Export Processing Zones and Generation, a global non-profit organization. The two organizations aim at laveraging standards and unlocking KICOTEC’s potential to enter the International apparel market.
The visitors acknowledged Governor Ngilu's outstanding move to establish a factory with the promise to revolutionize the apparel sector in Kenya.
Already, KICOTEC received President Uhuru Kenyatta's endorsement to manufacture uniforms for Chiefs and their assistants in the entire Country.
Now the firm is on the verge of receiving definitive boost from Generation to acquire international standards for its apparel.
Once attained, KICOTEC will become a sub-contractible factory with capacity to engage the international buyers directly.
