Kathiani politics
without Wavinya
Voting pattern in Kathiani
constituency of Machakos County will would be affected by the geographical
origin of candidates as several of them hail from the same locality therefore
are likely to share votes. More than nine aspirants both
old and young have declared interest since the incumbent Wavinya Ndeti is going
for governorship.
Some of the candidates have not
yet announced the parties they intend to use as their vehicle to parliament
with Frankline Makola hinting to vie using ODM Party.
Investigations show there are
expectations that some aspirants might forge alliances and support one of them
while observers say others, who are yet to declare interest, are warming up for
the next years general election.
