Hundreds served at
Free Medical Camps

Over 400 people were today treated at a free medical camp at Kanyaa and Kakululo in Migwani in Partnership with University of Nairobi and Mwlngi KMTC. The medical camp was organized by proffesionals from the area. They were backed up by the County Government of Kitui's Mobile Clinic Service as a goodwill gesture during Easter Holiday.
The team was also joined by medical doctors and nurses from the Sub county including the MoH.
Health and Sanitation Minister Rosaita Ngina was represented by Acting CO Mr.Fidelis Mwaniki.
Mr Mwaniki delivered a message from
Governor Ngilu, who urged citizens of Mwingi West to attend regular medical check ups on Cervical Cancer, diabetes, and blood pressure, even when they are not sick.
Dr. Temi Mutia, an advisor to the Governor, urged the people of Kanyaa and Kakululo to join / form Cooperatives, especially for marketing their forth coming Ndengu harvest.
Speaking during the same function, the Principal of MTC- Mwingi. Ms. Mary Kibue said the portal for September 2018 was now open and urged the people of Mwingi West to apply for admission.
Speaking at the same function, the Chairman of the Mwingi West Professionals,Mr. Justus Musango, urged the people to take advantage of Governor Ngilus Agenda no. 5 on Wealth Creation and form Cooperatives to Market their Ndengu.
