The 10 County Askaris held over the assault of a civic leader Boniface Maeke have been released.
They are to pay a cash bail of Kes 20,000 each or execute a bond of Kes 100,000.
This is as they await the outcome of police investigations into the incident that happened within the precincts of the Machakos Law Courts.
Senior Principal Magistrate Magistrate James Ombirah also ordered the suspects to appear in court on February 29 for mention of the case.
