Ngilu appoints
new minister

Governor Kaluki Ngilu today appointed a new minister to the Kitui County Executive Committee. Mr Benard Katungi was sworn into office as County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management and Administration, in the Office of the Governor.
Mr Katungi takes Oath of office administered by Deputy High Court Registrar Rose Ombeta,assisted by Kitui County Attorney Ms Rachel Osendo. |
The oath of Assumption into office was administered by a Deputy Registrar of the High Court Ms Rose Ombeta assisted by the County Attorney Ms Rachel Osendo.
Governor Ngilu witnessed the swearing ceremony,accompanied by her Deputy Dr Wathe Nzau and members of the Executive Committee, the County Secretary Mr Alex Kimanzi, the Governor's Advisors and Chief Officers.
Mr. Katungi affirmed he would truly and diligently serve the people and faithfully give his counsel to the Governor of Kitui County.
Mr. Katungi was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Esther Katungi and their children.
Mr. Katungi brings a great wealth of experience to the County Executive Committee of Kitui County. He is a performance-driven, accomplished, and seasoned professional, offering more than 20 years of effective management expertise and progressive leadership practices within operational environments.
