MACHAKOS Governor Wavinya Ndeti today conferred with Export Processing Zone Chairman Mr Ben Oluoch and the Chief Executive Officer Hussein Muhammed. The meeting comes as the county chief continues to embrace ties with private investors.

Governor Wavinya said the sector plays an integral role in creation of job opportunities for the residents of the county and assured the EPZ top officials of her government's commitment to creating a good atmosphere for trade and investment including putting in place friendly policies for expansion and growth.
Flanked by her Deputy Mr. Francis Mwangangi, Executive Committee Members Mr. Philip Kilonzo (Lands), Catherine Mutanu (Water) and Sharon Mutua (Trade) , the team discussed ways of strengthening ties between the county government and investors for mutual benefit.
" Through this, a win-win situation will be realized as our people will find more opportunities for jobs as the investors make better profits. I'm glad that this cooperation will guarantee Chakula Mezani Pesa Mfukoni for Machakos County residents", Governor Ndeti said.
