The Rev. Fr. Jeremiah Munyoki today handed the leadership of St. Joseph’s Seminary in Mwingi, Kitui County.
He handed over to Rev. Fr. Paul Mutemi after an 11 year helmsmanship as Rector.
Fr. Jeremiah is proceeding for a sabbatical in the Diocese of Clogher, Ireland.
The new Rector has served in the seminary for 8 years, with his most recent appointmentas vice Rector on October 27, 2022.
The handing over process was facilitated by the Vicar General, Very Rev. Fr. John Mwandi, who in his message congratulated them all for what they have done in the Seminary.
Also present at the handing over was the Bishop's Executive Secretary, Fr. Edward Mulwa, and the Education Secretary, Fr. Julius Muthamba.
