Makueni Government through the department of health has flagged off distribution of pharmaceutical and non pharmaceutical drugs to 236 health facilities.
The consignment worth Kes. 77 Million was flagged off today by Japheth Mang'oka County Executive Member Devolution accompanied by Chief Officer Health Dr. Steven Ndolo and Irene Makau, Chief officer for Devolution.
Speaking to the media Dr. Ndolo urged the medical staff in all level 4, Health centres and dispensaries to document and ensure proper use of the drugs .
He urged communities who lacked treatment before to visit Makueni Health facilities as all shall be fully supplied with drugs.
Mr Mang'oka said the government is committed to ensuring good health as per the Governor's Manifesto .
He also urged citizens to keep an eye over the drugs and report any misuse.
