A team of planners drawn from Makueni, Machakos and Kajiado counties as well as the Ministry of Lands has been set up to prepare an updated Konza Technopolis Buffer Zone Inter-County Physical and Land Use Development Plan.
The team was unveiled by Dr. Sonia Musyoka – the chairperson Inter-County Joint Physical and Land Use Planning Committee and CEC Lands Makueni at the Technopolis site on Monday.
The plan, according to Dr. Musyoka, is meant to synchronize development of the Technopolis with the buffer zone development plan.
The team will next move to the 10 km radius buffer zone for reconnaissance and data collection.
