Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. has appointed a Taskforce to investigate allegations of mismanagement in Kikima Farmers Co-operative Society

The taskforce begun a 14-day investigation into grievances raised by KiKima Coffee Farmers.
The complaints have come through several letters to the governor where the farmers decried misuse of funds and mismanagement of the Cooperative society leading to huge losses.
The taskforce was inaugurated by Makueni Agriculture, Irrigation, Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperative Development County Executive Committee Member Joyce Mutua on Tuesday at the cooperative's Head Offices in Kikima.
Ms Mutua told the 6- member taskforce that there to table a detailed report on findings and recommendations on the way forward towards finding a lasting solution for the KiKima farmers, as well as strengthen the cooperative movement in the entire county.
