KUSP team inspects projects
Kenya Urban Support Program team is visiting the Kitui Municipality to inspect projects they are undertaking.
The team is inspecting KUSP sites for projects to check their status and compliance, among others.
They also paid a courtesy call on Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe today. The visitors, led by the Component Head Mr. Solomon Ambwere held talks with the governor on the prospects of other Kitui areas being included in future KUSP funding.
The The Kenya Urban Support Program is funded by the World Bank is also in the process of preparing KUSP Phase II. Governor Malombe, in his remarks, revealed that Mwingi Municipality had made its preparations in readiness for inclusion in KUSP II.
